IM+ finally submitted to Windows phone marketplace, arriving shortly (Update: Now Available)

It's been ages since the official statement from IM+ developers where they announced that they are developing a Windows Phone application. If you have been following their Facebook page, you'd know how many desperate windows phone 7 users were out there looking for any news about the release date. The time has come for users to finally get a world class multi protocol IM application for Windows Phone. The announcement was made on their official Facebook fanpage.

IM+ has been submitted to the marketplace and if all goes well, you'd be using it this week itself. The submission process take some time, so in the mean time they are calling out beta testers. We have applied already, awaiting response and the lust-worthy XAP to reach our inbox. Stay tuned, we'll be testing the application in detail as soon as we receive it.

Update: IM+ is now available in the marketplace. We have been playing with the promotional xap aka beta testing for quite a white and have to admit the application is solid. Although, lack of MSN / Windows Live login is a bit of a disappointment, apparently Microsoft doesn't want em to probably because Mango update comes with native windows live IM integration. Anyways, IM+ is a top notch application, beautifully designed and works pretty well with toast notifications and live tiles. Since this is the only multi protocol IM app available in the marketplace now, IM+ seems like the only way to satisfy your IM needs.

The application is available for $9.99.
