It's taken nearly an eternity for a new WP device announcement, pun intended. The pun being on the word eternity because the latest HTC WP device is rumored to be called 'Eternity'. HTC Inside have piqued our interest in this device by suggesting unreal specifications, which include a ginormous 4.7" S-LCD screen of WVGA (480x800p) resolution, a 1.5GHz processor, an 8 megapixel camera capable of 720p video recording and a 1.3 MP secondary camera.

Is it really that big?
Size has never deterred the Taiwanese manufacturer from making big handsets, the HD7 being proof of that, and such has been the case this time as well. Measuring 170.6x70.63x9.9 mm and just under 170g it seems that this will be their largest and surprisingly thinnest handset till date. Other rumors include 512 MB RAM, 16 GB storage and Bluetooth 2.1. Since this is rumored to run Mango expect to see some functionality for that secondary camera.
Fact or Fiction?
With the Mango release date approaching, it doesn't seem that you'll have to wait for an eternity to get this phone.
