Windows Phone 7 can control a robotic arm! (Video)

Regular readers might remember the cannon firing robotic tank controlled by Windows phone 7. There's a whole lot of possibilities when robots and windows phone 7 join hands. Youtube user, alanbeech1, knows just what I am talking about. He managed to control a robotic arm using a custom software on his Windows Phone 7. You can move every *movable* part of the robotic hand - from base to wrist, everything moves via a simple touch input on a custom application. Watch the video after the break.

In this video I have used a locally hosted WCF service called from a custom Windows Phone 7 app to control a robot arm via a netduino and a couple of xbee modules
Do give us a shout out if you have ventured into a similar area with your Windows Phone.
