' Walshed ' phones finally get an official Microsoft approved fix

If we lived in an alternate world consisting of Dragon Ball Z characters, the whole incident could be termed as ' Walshie Saga '. Initially, it successfully fulfilled the desire of hundreds ( or probably thousands ) of WP7 users to upgrade to the NoDo update and then he suddenly from rejoice to tragedy for users - Microsoft barred the ' Walshed ' phones from getting any further update. Users were absolutely helpless at that moment due to lack of information from Microsoft on any upcoming fix. Who comes to their rescue again? Chris Walshie, of course. This guy is a super human. He has worked on a fix for the ' Walshed ' phones (with approval from Microsoft, Brandon watson and team tested it first) to help them get back on track and make em eligible for further updates.

He has a tutorial on his blog and download links, please navigate to this link to read more.

Massive majority of the users are able to successfully apply the fix and get the update notification and get the 7392 security update. Do report in if you tried the above fix.
