Fujitsu has already unveiled the worlds first 2nd generation handset in Japan and ZTE are expected to follow suite soon.
Samsung: Samsung is reported to be reusing the Samsung Galaxy S II's design for their first Mango handset. Hardware-wise the gorgeous Super AMOLED Plus display, the slim construction are confirmed and surprisingly the secondary camera is also expected, though maybe not a 2MP one. Unfortunately, neither the dual core processor nor the 1GB RAM might make their way over to the handset. On the software side, there is a possibility of the rather redundant hubs finding their way into the final software in the name of OEM customization.
HTC: Rumors of Handsets with a 1.5GHz processor, screen sizes anywhere between 3.8"-4.7" are widespread. The eternity was leaked by HTC Inside with rather atrocious specifications, but nothing has been heard since.
A certain Brandon/Bresson/Massa is believed to have a 16MP camera. Turns out it's just your run-of-the mill 12MP camera.
In reality, don't hold your breath for a ginormous handset with an over-clocked chip or a camera with a billion pixels coming anytime soon. HTC however might be kind enough to drop in some extra RAM, a rather good secondary camera along with maybe a few improvements to their hub.
Acer: A dummy of their first Windows Phone handset was spotted a long time ago. The latest specifications were adhered to. Nothing exceptional is there in the hardware and the software will mostly be free of any OEM customization. If priced correctly, in the mid-range price bracket this could go on to be a best seller.
LG: They aren't exactly a big name in the smartphone rat race, though they built the world's first dual core handset.
A pocketnow leak suggested that LG was working on their first Mango device. Nothing about specifications or release date was mentioned. Microsoft's strict policy ensures that no one will dare step below the minimum requirements. the picture (rendering) (below) suggests absence of a secondary camera and keyboard-less design.
