Leaked Road Map confirms Samsung i8350 Omnia W October launch

Samsung i8350 Omnia W has popped up on several websites in past weeks. Blog of Mobile spotted Omnia W receiving bluetooth certification. So it's existence has been confirmned for quite some time . The unknown variable have been target release date, specifications and pricing. Telefonino ( via GSMArena ) got access to Samsung Roadmap for 2H 2011 and it unsurprisingly has load of Android phones coupled three Bada devices and just one Windows Phone 7 device. More after the break.

Samsung plans to release Samsung i8350 Omnia W in October. The specifications of the device are disappointing. If you were expecting a Galaxy S2 running Windows phone mango, prepare to be massively disappointed.  Specs. embedded below:

Samsung i8350 Omnia W (October) - 3.7" WVGA display, Windows Phone 7.1 Mango, 1GHz processor, 5 megapixel camera, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth.

Yep. A WVGA display coupled with just 1GHz processor. So let's take a look at the roadmap again, Samsung will release 9 Android smartphones soon. 4 of these devices have Super AMOLED display while atleast two of these devices have dual core processors. Even the BADA OS Smartphone has 4" SAMOLED display! With some serious competition coming from HTC and Nokia in coming months, Omnia W is doomed to fail.
