The title may be misleading to some, but that's what Jozef calls it. Jozef Kocúr is the one who came up with this concept of Aero integration with Metro UI which means a whole new level of personalization for your WP7. Essentially with Aero as a personalization option, you can enhance the interface by changing transparency level, system color and background. Jake points out that choice isn't bad and we cannot disagree with that.
He has has presented some more amazing ideas in his blog. One particular idea which was particularly brilliant was the idea of having a Control Bar. Double Tap the Windows button ( PITA for capacitive buttons ) to get a control bar which shows system control buttons on top. Slide left on the control bar to access Zune controls Zune control and slide right for system notifications. Nifty idea.
Another idea is Live thumbnail. Basically it is like folders for WP7 which is something we would all love to see soon. Instead of vertically scrolling through all the lists, thumbnails can group applications according to category. Something which WP7 should have had since the beginning yet we have no news on this coming even in the Mango update ( correct me if I am wrong! ) .
He has a few more interesting ideas, make sure you take a look at all of them here.
Sadly, Aero integration might ruin the Metro UI experience and Jozef did the right thing to point out the flaws in the design. But nevertheless, this is one of the best concept UIs I have come across. What do you think ?
