The gameplay is terrific. You can spend countless frustrating hours on this - this game gets extremely difficult once the game progresses beyond level 20 which also makes it fun - you cannot put it down. Impossible Shoota
Impossible shoota is an accelerometer based vetical shooting game where you make your way past endless swarm of enemy ships to level up and eventually survive ( which is impossible, hence the name! ). This game reminds me of the horizontal ( ! ) space shooter - Space Impact. Only Impossible shoota is more fun. The visuals are top notch. Music is relevant and progressive difficulty makes it hard to put down. Just to make a related small note, this is my dad's favorite game. We recommend it as a must have game on your WP7

Well, we can't forget block puzzle lovers. Traffic doesn't disappoint. It is a sliding puzzle block game where blocks are actually cars and your aim is to get the red car out of the parking by rearranging the parked cars. The game has more than 200 levels and this game can keep you hooked for hours.

Quadra
Quadra is arguable the best game in the marketplace. It is hard to explain the gameplay but I'll try - all you gotta do is defend your core from incoming enemies. Once you hit em, you absorb them and level up to get a static mini core to help you out. The visuals are truly unique and the gameplay is engaging. Can't recommend this enough. Go - download it now.

Swipy Man
Swipy Man is a fun game where you swing to reach static or moving platform and level up to face more challenging platforms. To release the rope, just make sure the swing is good enough [ projectile motion ftw ] and tap the screen to reach the platform. You can also title the phone for accurate landing. The game currently has two themes. Go grab it.

Blockbuster
Blockbuster is a brick breaking game with a twist. Use the paddle to hit the bricks with the ball - but earn extra points by using boost to collect bricks for extra points. This is porbably the best brick breaking game I have every played [ DX ball fanboy here..] but there is one thing that could have made this game better : use of accelerometer to move the paddle instead of sliding the paddle. So I hope the developers read this, overall the visuals are top notch. I have no complaints other than the one mentioned. We'd recommend this 100 % for visually pleasing and smooth gameplay.

Unite
Unite is a free game from devs. at Microsoft. Your phone is now a balance board and gravity isn't your friend - you have to pass several obstacles ( like portals) to meet the other balls thus fusing and ultimately resulting in level up. The game is accelerometer is based so it can be quite fun. The only problem is the number of levels or rather lack of it ( just 22, in case you were wondering ). But you can't complete all of them in a day, I am still stuck at level 18 even after weeks of playing this game. So, where are you stuck at ?

Nom Nom Worm
Nom Nom World is a fun Snake ( the classic game on Nokia phones ) like game for WP7 where you have to eat food to grow, eat flower to control growth and avoid annoying little puffers which constantly chase you throughout the game.This game is probably made keeping kids in mind so the graphics are fun and lively. Problem ? Just one life. You die and game over. Hopefully this will change in an upcoming update. I am already hooked though, go get it.

satalaunch is a fantastic game. I recently discovered it and have to say it's one of the best out there. Better than most of the paid games I have tried. The aim of the game is to launch a satallite,Astro, to reach planets, moons and other celestial bodies. This game requires a lot of skill and the initial levels do a good job of making you comfortable with the concept ( like larger celestial bodies exert more gravitation pull on astro than smaller bodies ). The music suits the game too. Two thumbs up !

You can't have a list of best mobile games without the mention of a tower defense game. Scribble defense is truly a unique experience. You play as the Scribble Meister, a master of inks. you must protect the Scribbles from vicious Scrawls by deploying towers in their path to destroy enemies with powerful attacks.There are several types of towers with great visuals and the game becomes challenging progressively, so remember - strategy is important. Tower defense fans, you can't miss this one.

Skydiver classic
This game is simple retro style pixelated game but this is exactly what makes this game so special. You are a skydiver and your aim is to land on an island smoothly. More accurate ( accuracy is decided by the calculating distance of landing from the red flag ) more points. The catch ? Just like in real life, sky divers use win to land perfectly safe. So have to use the win or you will be carried away and land at sea where a shark awaits you. There are tons of levels - islands starts moving and mid air obstacle appears in later stages, so it keeps you entertained for long. So, land safe !
