Super Monkey Ball is now available on Xbox Live

It's been a long time coming, isn't it? Rumors and news about Super Monkey Ball coming to Xbox Live for Windows Phone 7. Well, it's finally here. With brands like Namco Bandai coming up with their own Xbox Live titles, SEGA certainly didn't want to be left behind. Super Monkey Ball came to iOS in August 2008 and proved to be a huge hit among mobile phone gamers. It was one of the first 3D games for iOS that fully utilized the accelerometer on the iPhone as well it's processing/graphical power. Other than that, it was the first 3D game to be launched with Apple's App Store back in 2008.

The game is available under the name "Super Monkey Ball" to download for $4.99 (that is Rs.265/- for our Indian readers) from the Zune Marketplace from today, i.e. Wednesday, April 6. There is also a trial version of the game, so you can try it out before buying.

We have just downloaded the trial version of the game, so we wouldn't be able to provide an in-depth review but you can take our word for it, this game is immense fun! A review will follow soon. Till then, you guys rock Super Monkey Ball on your Windows Phone 7 devices.
